John Edward

John Edward is an American psychic medium who has featured on numerous television shows, most notably his own shows Crossing Over and John Edward Cross Country.

Edward was born on October 19, 1969 in Glen Cove, New York, USA. He claims to have become aware of his psychic ability at a young age. He was raised a Roman Catholic, and although he later abandoned the Catholic faith, he still claims to be strongly influenced by the church and has close ties to God.

Edward reports that at age 15 he had a reading by a New Jersey psychic, who persuaded him to pursue a path of psychic mediumship.

Edward has also worked as a phlebotomist and ballroom dancing instructor. He has a wife, Sandra, and two children.
