Bill Kaysing
William Charles (Bill) Kaysing (July 31, 1922 – April 21, 2005) was a researcher and investigator into space-related issues and phenomena. He is best-known as one of the originators of the "Apollo Moon Hoax" theory, with his book We Never Went to the Moon: America's Thirty Billion Dollar Swindle (Health Research, June 1976).
Bill Kaysing graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Southern California in 1949. He worked as head of technical publications at Rocketdyne, an aerospace contractor, from 1957 until 1963.
Kaysing was also known as a cat lover and advocate.
Kaysing's moon hoax theories have largely fallen out of favour as his original arguments have been satisfactorily explained. A number of supporters continue to promote his theories, usually by attempting to interpret new evidence in his favour.
