Succubus
A succubus is a mythical demon, the female version of an incubus. The succubus is said to appear as a beautiful woman who uses her hypnotic powers to seduce men and/or have sexual intercourse with them as they sleep.
It is sometimes said that the succubus feeds off the victim's energy, leaving him weak or dead.
The purpose of mating with a human male is to acquire sperm which is used, in conjunction with an incubus and human female, to produce a cambion child.
The succubus is usually pictured as a woman with unearthly beauty, but sometimes sporting bat-like wings, fangs, hooves and/or snake-like eyes.
An alternative description of the succubus is a lovely scented women wandering the desert. This version of the succubus only attacks men who have committed adultery.
The queen of all Succubi is called Nahemah. She is believed to steal the victim's very soul. In medieval ages, prayers, fasting and ceremonies were used as defence against her.
